Charles S. Rabey, age 77, of Middletown, NY died Monday, November 13, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. Charles was born April 8, 1929 in Staten Island, NY the son of Charles S. Rabey, Sr. and Margaret O'Neill Rabey. He was the husband of Frances Scaturro Rabey. Charles was employed by Chase Bank in New York as an Accountant. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean War. Charles is survived by his wife: Frances Rabey at home; son, Thomas C. Rabey and wife Jeannine of Town of Newburgh; daughter, Mary F. Bennis and husband Paul of New Hampton; sister, Edith Grycan of Port Richey , FL; 3 grandchildren, Sydney Rabey, Lia Rabey and Bridgette Bennis; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Dorothy Sidnam. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 16, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street in Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Middletown. Burial will follow in the Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY. Donations may be made to the Alzheimers Assoication, 2 Jefferson Plaza, Suite 203, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601-4027. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home in Goshen.
