Michael Falina of Goshen, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 in Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. He was 94. The son of Antonio Falina and Antonia Romano Falina, he was born Tuesday, June 4, 1912 in New York, NY. Mr. Falina was a Produce Manager for Potash, Inc., Queens, N.Y. He was also an Army Veteran of World War II, Past President and member of the American Legion Post in Corona, N.Y. He is survived by his son, Michael Falina, Jr. and his wife, Eileen of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; a daughter, Annette Scesa and her husband, James of Goshen, and a sister, Christina DiStasi of Corona, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Peter and Mark Falina, James, Paul and John Scesa, Cathleen Scesa-Yorio; ten great grandchildren; Jason, Michael, James, Brett, Paul, Christopher, Joseph, Paul, Trevor and Victoria; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen. Interment will be at Mount St. Marys Cemetery, Queens, N.Y. Arrangements by Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen, N.Y.
