Obituary of Thelma L. Santos

Thelma L. Santos, age 75, of Middletown, NY, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Orange Regional Medical Center Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. Thelma was born July 28, 1931 in Middletown, NY the daughter of the late Perry and the late Edith(Andrews) Durant. Thelma was a life long resident of the area. She was employed by the Middletown Psychiatric Center, Middletown as a Food Service Worker, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Howells Fire Co. and also served in various offices in the Auxiliary, she was a Brownie Leader for the Girl Scouts, and past member of the Woodman of the World Organization, she was very involved with her childrens educational programs. Family Statement Thelma was a supportive and loving Mother and Grandmother who valued her family and friends. She is survived by her son, Steven P. Santos and wife Debbie of South Carolina; daughter Paula Renee Orcutt and husband James of Montgomery, NY; sister, Vivian Mallon of Syracuse, NY; 5 grandchildren, Megan, Madison, Melissa, Patrick and Tonilynn; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, May 24, 2007 from 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen. The Funeral Service will be Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements under the direction of the Donovan Funeral Home.
