Bruce E. Barron, age 80, of Campbell Hall, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, Newburgh, NY. Bruce was born April 9, 1941 in Newburgh, NY, the son of James E. Barron and Madeline (Fisher) Barron. He was employed for many years in the banking industry and was a long time member of the Hamptonburgh Presbyterian Church and ten year member of the Fire Police at the Otterkill Engine Company in Campbell Hall, NY. Bruce loved to travel and spend time with his family. He loved the Mets, Oreos, the Campbell Hall General Store, and the Main Line Diner. He is survived by his children, Diane Barron of Bethlehem, NH, Jeffrey Barron of Goshen, and Mark Barron and wife Amy of Southington, CT; two grandchildren, Braden and Ryan Barron of Southington, CT; brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Gloria; his parents James and Madeline; mother and father-in-law, Francis & Teresa Standish; brothers, Jim and Steve Barron, sister -in-law Noreen (Wagner) Barron, and sister, Denise Barker. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25 from 4 to 7 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate Bruce's life will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church of Hamptonburgh, Campbell Hall, NY with the Reverend Gary Fox officiating. Burial will be in Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY.
