Anne Louise Marco, 71, of Goshen, New York, died on Thursday, 14 July 2016, at home.
Anne was born the daughter of the late Edwin F. and Joan L. (Miles) Russell on 2 January 1945 in Jamaica, Queens. She retired from the Orange County Clerk's Office in Goshen. Prior to her service there, Anne was a longtime employee of the Goshen Central School District. She was a CCD teacher at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church for many years, and served several terms on the Board of Directors of the Goshen Little League. Anne was also an enthusiastic Independent Longaberger consultant.
Survivors include her beloved family: husband, Michael, at home; daughters, Karyn Hughes (Timothy) of Goshen and Jacquelyn Marco of Brooklyn; son, Michael Marco of Middletown; grandchildren, Catherine and Brendan Hughes of Goshen; sister, Madeline Kline of Manchester, New Jersey; sister-in-law, Diane Mazur (Ed) of Long Island; brother-in-law, James Marco (Maureen) of Rochester; aunt (Joan Miles), uncle and aunt (John and Darlene Miles), several nieces and nephews, and many dear cousins. Anne's brother, Captain Peter J. Russell, is still listed as Missing in Action, Vietnam.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, July 18, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen.
Burial will follow in the Orange County Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
