Obituary of Raymond E McGuire

Raymond E. McGuire, Jr., 64, of Goshen, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at home in Goshen.
Ray was born May 11, 1952 in Middletown, NY, the son of the late Raymond E. McGuire, Sr. and the late Mildred (Whitney) McGuire.
He was a graduate of Goshen Central High School's Class of 1970. After graduation he became a Structural Ironworker. Mastering this sophisticated and challenging trade gave him great satisfaction and he was proud of the bridges and buildings he helped to construct. He was a member of Ironworkers Local 417 in Newburgh, NY.
He is survived by his four children and one granddaughter, all who were the love of his life. Dylan McGuire, Owen McGuire and his wife Jessica and daughter, Peyton Rae, and Colin McGuire all reside in Goshen, and his daughter Meghan McGuire resides in New Orleans, LA. Their mother, Dora Boyle McGuire of Chester also survives him.
Surviving him are his sisters Ellen Miller and her husband, Richard Miller, and Laura McGuire and her husband, Allen Rosiny all from Goshen. In addition he has several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 4, 2016 from 12-2 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
Burial will be private and at convenience of family.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ray's name may be made to the Goshen Pantry, 33 Park Place, Goshen, NY 10924
