Obituary of Louise M. DiMeo

Louise M. DiMeo, 71, of Campbell Hall, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2009 at home. Louise was born October 30, 1937 in New York, NY the daughter of Peter Vives, Sr. and Margaret Mary (Sanchez) Vives. She was the wife of Lawrence S. DiMeo. Louise was a wonderful, loyal and protective wife and mother. She was proud of NYPD and their dedication to each other and the citizens of New York. She was also very patriotic and was grateful to the military forces. She loved antiques, Luciano Pavarotti, yard sales and going to auctions. She is survived by her devoted husband Lawrence S. DiMeo at home; loving daughters, Laura Colacci of Sugar Loaf and Linda DiMeo of Campbell Hall; her beloved poodle Lilly; brothers, Sam Vives of Hollbrook, NY and Frank Vives of Long Island, NY; sisters, Gloria Bohling of California and Rebecca Vivies of New York; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rachel Dilag and Josie Vives Salazar and brother, Peter Vives, Jr. and beloved family friend Richard Slobecheski Visitation will be Monday, July 6, and Tuesday July 7, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen.
