Very sorry to hear about Coach Ziobro. I met coach at Meadow Hill School where he was the first one to introduce me to soccer - and Pele. I played for Coach at NFA in the fall of 1979 and 1980. He believed in me and made me a better player. The things he taught me have carried with me my entire life. Many, many thanks to Coach Ziobro - and Coach's family for sharing him with us. As a member of NFA's varsity soccer team (1970 & 1971), I know I speak for all my teammates in expressing our sincere condolences on Coach Ziobro's passing. You see, he will always be Coach to us - as he taught us all so much. I only hope he knew of the great influence he had on us. A bunch of us still get together in Newburgh twice a year and reminisce about our soccer days and the "hills" he had us run. He was tough - but fair, and his lessons have impacted our lives long after our soccer season's ended. Our thoughts and prayers are with Coach and his family. God bless you all.
