I am sorry to hear of Sams passing. He followed in his dad’s footsteps to attend the University of Alabama. My husband, Sam Patruno, also went there and drove Sam back and forth. They also had connections in that we owned Patruno Oil first in Middletown, then in Goshen.
We live in Florida now but am visiting in Middletown at this time and saw Sam’s obituary in the Indy.

Diana and I met Sam and Sue in 1968. It was an instant friendship that has lasted until this day and forward. Sam was a
warm-hearted, energetic man who enjoyed life and being with people. I never heard Sam say anything bad about anyone.
A few of Sam's enjoyments were his travels, cars, dining out and most importantly Sue, his girls and grandchildren.
Sam we will miss you. You were one of those friends a person could call on knowing you would be there no matter what. There will forever be a hole with you gone.

Sue and family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Sam was such a great man. Although I hadn’t seen him in many years I still have such wonderful memories of him back when I was your cable adv rep and for years after that. He was welcoming and always treated me with respect as I also witnessed him do with others. Great conversations with him and of course jokes. His cars were the best and I loved how his face lit up when talking about them with me. And of course the several times he would pass me on the highway in one of them. Zooom. So cool. It was such a privilege for me to have known him. My heartfelt prayers go out to all of you during this time of sorrow. God bless you Sam.
