Obituary of Michael Eugene Zawaski

Michael Eugene Zawaski, was born in Middletown, NY on April 16, 1971 died of a sudden unexpected heart attack on March 1, 2023. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Fred and Wanda Zawaski maternal grandparents James and Grace Quackenbush, paternal uncles James Zawaski and Larry Zawaski and Gary Baranowski. He will be greatly missed by his surviving parents Barbara Zawaski of Middletown NY and Peter Zawaski (Joanne ) of Myrtle Beach and his aunts; Pauline Zawaski, Dawn Zawaski, Michella & Lila Baranowski; his uncle Dennis Baranowski ( Denise ); and cousins Matt, Andy, Stephen, David, Nicole, Alyse and Jimmy. He will be remembered for having greatly loved his grandparents and being a loving son to both his parents. He had a gentle spirit, kind soul, strong work ethic and he was loyal to his core. He was a wonderful caretaker companion to his mother until his death. He loved his 80s music, his dear cats, and his fellow team members at Tony Boffas Restaurant, where he worked for many years. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8 from 08:30 to 10:30 AM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at St Joseph's Cemetery, 140 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY.
