Grandma was an amazing woman. She was always so kind and loving, and I will never forget all of the wonderful moments we shared together. I am so grateful to have had her in my life, even more so that I was blessed enough to see her with my own daughter. I will cherish our visits and memories of baking, picking vegetables in her and grandpa’s huge garden, playing solitaire, dinners at the Elk’s, eating Campbell’s soup out of onion soup crocks cause I thought that was fancy, and countless times of gluing broken plates, cups and Knick knacks together.
She was always in the kitchen baking treats for those she loved. Feeding people was the way she showed she loved you. Even her animals and the neighborhood stray cats were fed by gram. Her poor dog was so loved I’m not sure how he was able to walk.
She was always there for me when I needed her, and she was such an important part of my life. I know that she is now at peace, and I take comfort in knowing that she will always be with me in spirit.
Thank you for everything, Grandma. I love you so much.
