My Dear aunt! The news of your death hit me very hard. No words in the world can ease the pain. Sorrow is like an ocean. It comes and goes in waves. Suddenly the wave piles up and breaks thunderously over you. Grief. Pain. Silence. But then a smile on my lips. Memory flashes. A wonderful moment with you. Nobody can take that away from me. I am so grateful for these moments with you. Especially our family vacation in summer of 1999. It was something very special for me to saw the Niagara Falls. Also the trips to New York City and your visits to Berlin (Germany). Home much we laughed? You will always be in my heart! Love Daniela

My first meeting with my sister and brother in law after she leaves Berlin was in the end of the 60 s in Bitburg Germany-They picked me up in a youth hostel (I stand there with my schoolmates) in Nideggen Eifel . We had 2 wonderful days- they show me her home and the city of Trier. From the first day I loved my brother in law Garry. Said to my sister keep him!!! She did it . 2. Memory : My first Atlantic flight in 74 to visit them in Parkridge New Jersey. Wonderful days with a trip to Niagra Falls . Never forget. Lovely sister- forever in my heart - miss you right now- sorry for not coming to your funeral- no chance - My thoughts are with you on Friday Love you forever Walter

To have a BEST friend for 50 years is a gift from above. Gisela and I grew together and on occasion cried together. We raised our kids and exasperated our husbands together. We drank gallons of coffee and we laughed. When my husband retired, and we moved to Arizona every Friday the phone would ring and I would hear my friend and smile. I will miss her with all my heart. Until we meet again Giesy. Love Pat & Jim Johnson
