James Edward Collett, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, left us unexpectedly on April 23, 2024. Born on November 23, 1954, James led a life filled with love, dedication, and hard work. For 41 years, he was the loving husband of Maureen, a pillar of strength and support in their journey together. James cherished his role as a father to Sean (Colleen), Robert (Jessica), and Kathleen, and delighted in the joy brought by his four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Matthew, Miguel, and MacKenzie James had a deep love for his dogs, Griffyn and Murphy James had a passion for life's simple pleasures. Whether it was a round of golf with friends and family, fishing with his grandkids, or tending to his yard, he found peace and fulfillment in these moments. His dedication and work ethic were unmatched, earning him respect and admiration from all who knew him. James's love for his family was boundless, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. In addition to his immediate family, James is survived by his brothers Russell (Paula), Brad, and Jack (Susie), who shared in his laughter, stories, and brotherly bonds. James Edward Collett's legacy is one of love, hard work, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm at Donovans Funeral Home, Services at 1pm.
