MARY C. MARTIN GOSHEN, NEW YORK Mary C. Martin, 88, of Goshen, NY passed away Monday, May 10, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Mary was born August 31, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Robert Harry and Laura (Hartford) Orr. She was the widow of John F. Martin. Mary went to Katherine Gibbs School and became a secretary for Lake Road Elementary School in the Nyack School District, Nyack, NY. Mary was an accomplished artist and was a member of the Miniature Art League of Florida and the Spring Hill Art League. She was also a member of the Valley Cottage Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Past President for the PTA Nyack School District and was a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She is survived by her three children, Robert Martin and wife Lorine of Lewiston, ME, Richard E. Martin and wife Diane of Highland Mills, NY and Janet Mills and husband David of Goshen, NY; and her granddaughter, Kaitlin Mills. She was predeceased by her parents and husband John F. Martin. Funeral Services will be private with the family at St. Joseph, Field of Galilee, Boston, MA. Memorial donations may be made in Mary's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen, NY.
