Gerardo Lombardi, 90, of Washingtonville, NY entered into rest on Friday, June 14, 2024, at home.

 

Gerardo was born May 23, 1934, in Cerro Al Volturno, Italy, the son of Amalio and Teresina (Gennarelli) Lombardi.

 

He retired from Local #825 as an Operating Engineer. Gerardo loved his family, dancing, Italian music and good food.

 

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lina Lombardi; son, Amalio Lombardi and wife Juliann of Goshen, daughter, Teresa Fini and husband Joseph of Goshen; five grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Felicia Hurley and husband, Daniel, Amanda, Marissa, Michael; brother, Michele, sister, Domenica and nieces and nephew.

 

Gerardo was predeceased by his parents and sister, Elena.

 

Visitation will be Monday, June 17 from 8:00 AM -10:00 AM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.

 

A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate his life will be held 10:30 am on Monday, June 17, 2024, at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.

 

Entombment will be in St Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum in Middletown, NY.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerardo’s name to the American Heart Association.
