I will remember Greg as a rare "salt of the earth" friend. He cared deeply for his loved ones, his friends and also God's creatures that crossed his path throughout his life. His warm personality, quick wit and sense of humor endeared him to all who were blessed to know him on this earthly plane. Greg bravely faced his illness with courage, grace and unwavering hope. He was such an inspiration and will be sorely missed and never ever forgotten. My deepest sympathy to his beloved Barbara, his family and his friends.
"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart brings forth good things..." Matthew 12:35
Greg fought the good fight...may he rest in eternal peace.

My wife Cynthia and I and our daughter Caity worked with Greg for a short time but in that time we came to love him.
He inspired us with his courage, his determination, and his sense of humor in the face of some very trying circumstances.
Rest in peace. We celebrate your life.

Greg's family: So sorry to hear that you just lost Greg. I've only seen Greg once or twice since we graduated from jsb HS. Even so, I remember him as such a positive and affirming person. If his adult life was anything like his HS career, your loss is great.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Greg was family, so I have various memories of seeing him at family BBQs, holidays, and milestone celebrations. My most vivid memory of him is when Sean and I had the pleasure of sitting at a table with Greg and Barbara at a family wedding. He kept us enthralled with his brilliant storytelling. He had the ability to bring the stories to life and had us in tears from laughing so hard. The stories that stand out the most were the ones about his experiences harness racing. One time he was racing in the Bartender’s Derby and they weren’t allowed to carry a whip. As they came onto the homestretch he was getting frustrated because he didn’t have a way to get his horse moving any faster. Out of frustration he said, “C’mon, Bob (or whatever the horse’s name was)” and the horse flicked his ear back, accelerated and won! The other story I remember about harness racing was one time he was training on the track and the horse fell. He sat on its head calling for help, so it couldn’t hurt itself on the sulky getting up. I know I’m not doing these stories justice, but Greg’s voice, laughter and love will live on in my memory.

Greg had a great, big smile so we all could see his great, big heart and sense of humor.
Greg took me to my first Bruce concert and my first Yankees game and was the only guy I knew who had a pet rabbit and made sure I got Bowie.
Rest in peace.

Dearest Barbara,
We are so deeply sorry for your loss of Greg. He certainly was such a sweet guy and we were so happy you both found each other in life. Perfect match!! We have the fondest memories of times with the both of you. The memory of Greg consistently remaining foremost in my mind is when he told us the story of the huge fluffy cat you had many years ago. I can hear his voice and picture him telling it like it was yesterday. He came downstairs to find the cats tail lit up like a "Roman candle" as he put it, from passing by an actual lit table candle! Fortunately he was able to and of course saved the cat from harm. His expressions and story were memorably priceless! We certainly shared a REALLY GOOD laugh that has continued for me to the present when it comes to mind. We are just so very sorry for your loss. Deepest heartfelt sympathy and warmest hugs to you sweet lady. We love you.

Greg was more than a friend, he was an inspiration. Known for his generosity and kindness, he spread laughter wherever he went with his witty humor. His thoughtful disposition was his crown jewel that illuminated our lives, making him not just a friend but the big brother we admired for over 30 years. Though we mourn his loss today, let us remember him by radiating the same warmth and cheerfulness that defined Greg's remarkable life. He will always be in our hearts.
