Edward E. Wieben, Jr., age 70, of Goshen entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at home in Goshen. Edward was born on August 25, 1953 in Iowa City, IA to Edward E. Wieben, Sr. and Ruth (Kern) Wieben. Edward was always a family man who especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Ed was a very dedicated employee of the Bank of New York Mellon EDP Auditing Department for more than thirty years. He retired from their NYC headquarters in 2008. Outside of work and into his retirement years, Ed was a history buff with a particular interest in military history. He also enjoyed researching his ancestry. Edward is survived by his wife Catha (Nelson) whom he married on September 11, 1976, his daughters Christine (Brian Wallace), of Morrisville, PA, and Megan (William) Cook of Middletown, NY; his beloved grandchildren Soren and Logan; his brothers John and Harry; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on August 9, 2024 from 4-7pm at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church Street, Goshen, NY 10924. The funeral service will be held at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, NY on August 10, 2024 at 9:30 am.
