Calliope Elizabeth Spiliotis, 41years of age entered the Kingdom of God Friday September 27th. She was a beautiful, kind and intelligent person with lots of love for all she new. Her passion was working with the special needs children in the Autistic world. Calliope loved animals of all kinds, nature and the beautiful 4 seasons in New York State. She loved hiking and enjoyed all that nature had to offer. Calliope also danced for several years and loved yoga. She was a one of a kind of person who touched the hearts with kindness and love for all she was associated with and will be greatly missed. Calliope was a Minisink graduate, attended and graduated from both Orange County Community College then transferring to New Paltz SUNY College with a major in Communication Disorders and was currently working towards her Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Russell Sage. Calliope will be greatly missed by all her friends, family and Sunday her beautiful Dachshund who loved her like a mother. Calliope is survived by her mother Sophia Spiliotis, sister Athena and brother Alexander Spiliotis, long time life partner Yunus Turkkan "Joe", Godparents Nickolas Nafpliotis and Maritza Nafpliotis, cousins Helen and Krystal Nafpliotis as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial will be held to Celebrate her life Saturday, October 5th between the hours of 2 to 5 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home.
