Tom is also survived by his partner and wife of 28 years. It all started in high school even going to the Jr Senior prom together.
After college and Susan's graduate school they married in 1962, After that Susan added part time jobs along with her full time jobs to put Tom thru the last three fourths of his medical school and all of his internship and residency. He joined the army after his internship ( not his residency as stated) , He did not go to Vietnam, but he was instead assigned to Okinawa. Susan joined him and they lived off base being robbed several times by "steally boys"'
After Okinawa they left for Denver for his three year
residency...and then to West Point. Over the years they made many frends,traveled all over the world but the best part was knowing each others parents and families and all the memories that brings,. The divorce was not a hostile one and they stayed in touch quite regularly over all the years.
