Barbara A. McAndrew, 87, of Goshen entered into rest on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, peacefully in her sleep at home. Barbara was born August 1, 1937, in the Bronx, NY. She was the widow of John F. McAndrew, with whom she was married for 55 years. She is survived by her granddaughter Brianne Sienkiewicz of Goshen, NY; her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Gary Sienkiewicz of Athens, GA; her son John J. McAndrew of Bullville, NY; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Along with being a homemaker and active member in her church, her largest contribution to the community was advocating for people with disabilities. She was a committee member of SNAP, GROW, Orange County Developmental Disability Services, and a board member of AHRC. Visitation will be Thursday, February 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at St. Columba R. C. Church, 27 High St, Chester, NY. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen. www.donovanfunerals.com
