Obituary of Thomas Ronald Cox

WEB OBIT WEB OBIT WEB OBIT Thomas Ronald Cox, age 77, of Goshen, NY entered into rest Sunday, March 2, 2025. Ron was born October 1, 1947 in Montreal, Canada. He is the son of the late Thomas and Audrey (Gilpin) Cox. He married Pamela King on September 9th, 1972 in NY at Our Lady Of Victory Church. They were married for over 52 years. He immigrated to the US with his wife in1978 and was employed by Airdyne, in the Bronx as a Sales Manager. Ron was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a cousin, an uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife Pamela: Three Children Sean, Timothy(Kelly) & Katie, Grandchildren Aislyn, Reagan & McKenna: Brothers Charlie (Micheline), Gary (Chris): Sister Gail (Eric): Brothers & Sisters In-law, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & many friends. Every person that has walked this planet creates a ripple. Some make big splashes that send large ripples often affecting many, while others create a softer ripple that affects smaller circles. Those small ripples tend to reach more people only because they don't overpower another's splash. We never truly know how far and wide the ripples will go but we do know that one ripple will always affect another which can amplify both ripples. Ron never tried to make a big splash. But he for sure helped others throughout his life. Whether it was playing with his grandchildren, enjoying a hockey game or a morning at the lake fishing, Ron would make friends with anyone. Those that knew Ron knew how much he loved to tell stories. And there are many out there with good stories about him. In honor of Ron, try to put some positive ripples out in the world. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made in his name "Thomas Ronald Cox" to the Tunnel2Towers Organization. A memorial will be planned for later this spring.
