Obituary of Nancy Ann Young

Nancy Ann Young, age 78, of Goshen entered into rest on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at home in Goshen. Nancy was born October 10, 1946, in Passaic, NJ. She is the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lina (Doremus)Tencza. She was employed by Clifton Board of Education in Clifton, NJ as a Teacher. She is survived by her daughter: Jo-Anne Lavery and partner Brian Mieczkowski; grandchildren: Jessica Kruse and husband Ryan Kruse, Jaclyn Poveda and husband Zachary Poveda, Lauren Janisheski and Fiancé Forrest Brigman, Kelly Tomi-Franza and husband Scott Franza, Cassidy Janisheski, John Janisheski; and great grandchildren: Aribella Tomi, Maverick Poveda, Kai Poveda, Leif Poveda, Lilly Poveda. She is also survived by her dogs Frankie, Ernie, and Cooper, as well as many friends. Donations in memory of Nancy can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County or your local animal shelter.
