Maria and I would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the entire family. Joe will be truly missed, whether it be dropping off perogies, horseradish at the house or just his wave while passing him on the road. May he enjoy all the glory that Heaven has to offer. God Bless

Joe came to our farm every day always willing to do whatever needed to be done. Whether it be to make a delivery or to pick something up, or to just sit and chat for a bit. We always said Joe was 'worth his weight in gold.' Joe got all puffed up with that comment.
Joe loved cooking and baking. Known as Pierogi Joe and Brownie Joe, our office always had fresh baked goodies. Joe never missed a birthday for everyone he knew, with their gift being their choice of Pierogi freshly made and delivered.
Joe loved seeing the little ones...our grandchildren .....Elena and Max. He always asked how they were and where they were. Somehow whenever they saw Joe, they always ended up with either a $5 or $10 bill.
Joe supported the Holy Name Society and the Rosary Society of St. Joseph's Church. He attended the fundraisers and would bake trays of brownies and cookies for the event. Joe always donated his time.
At the Village of Florida Annual Fun Fest, Joe was so well known for his home-made Pierogi. For the last event, Joe and Joyce made 1,000 Pierogi. He wanted to make sure we did not run out. We sold every one of them.
Joe, you were 'one in a million' and totally 'worth your weight in gold.' You will be missed every day. Rest in Peace, my friend.
Love,
JoAnn and Frank Dagele

I was Flower Girl at Uncle Joe and Aunt Joyce's wedding. He also lived with my family for a time when he was a young man. A dear, sweet and generous Uncle who often brought my family delicious dishes that he lovingly made, and always wanted our opinion on whether it needed anything or had too much of something.
He informed me of things going on, and my husband Dan would sometimes do impressions of him, as we found him entertaining and endearing.
He was a large presence and will be greatly missed and forever loved.
