Dear Danielle, So very sorry to hear of the loss of your very dear, kind and loving husband Sal. We remember the whole gang from Genarro's! Dear Mr & Mrs. Brancato & JP.....
i was so saddened when i heard of Sal's passing. I have great memories of us as kids eating pizza & four wheeling in that ol' gray Toyota pickup :) I wish there was a way i could be there to show you the love and support needed at this most difficult time. Danielle and Mr. and Mrs Brancato - my prayers are with your entire family! I lost my mom and best friend this year and I know it must be a lot worse to lose a son and husband so young. Sal was in our conversation many of times as my husband (Coach Curto) and I would talk about the games and times at Siena college. Charlie tells his sons about Sal and what a great player he was. Barbara Jean and Sal,
I learned the news today and my heart breaks for you. My prayers and thoughts are with you. I still remember when Sal use to come over to visit my sister and he would come up to my room to hang with me. He was so good to me. He treated me like a little sister.

I kew Sal from our years at Ulster County Comm College and almost ended up going to Siena with him. While I lost touch with him over the years, I will always have the fondest memories of him. I so remember Salvatore and all the trips to the Emergency Room while he was growing up. It was with great sadness I had when I read of his passing. I wish I could find the words to say to you to ease your pain and suffering. I have such wonderful memories of your beloved Salvatore. I know for sure there are many more wonderful memories and stories you all have. Please be assured that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of great sorrow. My deepest sympathy goes out to Sal's family. I knew sal in highschool. i remember going to the hospital when he had a collapsed lung and going to his house after school for home work. His mom in the kitchen, those sleepy eyes and how he would always rub his nose (it seemed to run for days), his soccer games and his passion for soccer. I live in Delray beach. Years ago i went into a new pizza place called Gennaro's. Who new that it was Sal's pizzaria. He was behind the counter with his wife. It's funny where life takes us. I am again so sorry for your loss. May God give your family peace in the up coming weeks and months. We never know why God allows things to happen but we can trust that He is in control and loves us completely and unconditionally.
