I worked with Don at Sullivan County DPW. Even though I lost contact when he left, i will always remember his smile and laughter in the office. Don's number one priority was his family as he spoke of them often. Our Deepest Sympathy to his family.

It was obvious to anyone who was fortunate enough to have Don as a friend that he adored his lovely wife Peggy and his precious family, especially his grandchildren. He always had a fresh tale of their antics to share. Don was also the "master host" whether he was filling up the snack and candy jars at work or inviting everyone over to his home for a cookout. He always tried to take care of others. My heart is selfishly saddened at the passing of this great man. But I know that he is now in a much better place, no more sorrow or pain and he is in the arms of our precious Lord along with his loved ones who have gone on before him. My prayers are with my friend Peggy and the entire family for strength and peace to endure until the time comes when they are able to find comfort in their memories. With much love, Kitty

Don was one of those people who picked you up when the rest of the world tossed you to the curb. His mantra was, everybody is somebody. Don was my mentor and my closest and dearest friend. His passing leaves an indelible void in my life. Friends like that don’t come by too often and my world is going to be very empty with him.
