John P. Sullivan, Jr. Goshen, New York John P. Sullivan, Jr. 52, of Goshen died Friday, December 24, 2010 at home in Goshen, NY. John was born July 27, 1958 in the Bronx, NY, the son of John P. and Mary (Jennings) Sullivan. He was the husband of Heather Peyton Sullivan. John was a firefighter for the FDNY Ladder 34 Washington Heights, NY. He is survived by his wife: Heather Sullivan at home; his mother Mary Sullivan of Goshen; 2 sons, John P. Sullivan III and wife Jaimee of Goshen and Michael T. Sullivan of Goshen; sisters and brother, Mary Broas of Greenville, NY, Patrick Sullivan of Mt. Hope, NY and Susan Doughty of Washingtonville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, John P. Sullivan, Sr. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 28 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, December 29 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in John's name to the New York Firefighters Burn Center Foundation, c/o Engine 66/Ladder 61, 21 Asch Loop, Bronx, NY 10475.
