One of my dearest and recent memory of Dick was the last Auxillary picnic that my Dad attended. Dick and Dad sat at the table and were remembering their young years in Campbell Hall behind the sand bank. The two of them were laughing so hard that tears were rolling down their faces and it was an actual belly laugh. Dick always had that special smile on his face when we were kids and we would peek into the barn and he would let us come in. What an absolutely wonderful person he was and I will never forget those rides on the fire truck after a fireman's parade. No one can ever take those memories away and I will hold them dearly to my heart. I wish I could be there in your time of sorrow and hug each and every one of you but I do want to send my thoughts and prayers to the family and he will be truly missed in the small hamlet of Campbell Hall.
