Obituary of Dolores Schaumburg

Dolores Schaumburg, 70, of Goshen died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at home with her family by her side. Dolores was born June 30, 1942 in East Stroudsburg, PA, the daughter of Ollie "Bud" Ryder and Mildred C (Gross) Ryder. She was the widow of Charles H. Schaumburg, III. Dolores was the former owner of Michael AngelO's, Goshen, NY. Life was a better place because she was in it. Her love and spirit will live within all who knew and loved her. Thank you for all the love you gave us all. She is survived by her children, Lisa A. Howell and husband Timothy, Charles Schaumburg and wife Carleen, and Thomas Schaumburg and wife Sarah, all of Goshen; brother, Raymond Ryder and former wife Joanne of Dingmans Ferry, PA; sisters, Peggy Meyers and husband Edward of Port Jervis, and Jane Davies of Port Jervis; grandchildren, Paige and Hana Howell, Charles H. IV, Hope E., Tessa A. and Meaghan E. Schaumburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Charles and son, Michael J. Schaumburg. Visitation will be Sunday, December 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 24 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Dolores's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
