Helen O'Leary, of New Hampton, died May 20, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Helen was born in Middletown, NY September 3, 1918 the daughter of the late Henry and Elva (Peck) Kortright. She was a member of St. Johns Church, Goshen; life member of Court Genevieve Walsh Catholic Daughters of Goshen and Slate Hill Pacers Senior Citizens. She is survived by her brother, Donald Kortright and wife Merle of Layton, Utah; grandson, Nicholas Hoffman and wife Rosa of Walker Valley, NY; granddaughter Heidi Aldrich and husband Greg and great grandson Keegan of Las Vegas, NV; brothers-in-law, Raymond O'Leary and wife Jean of Sparta, NJ and Richard Ballard of Port Jervis, NY; care giver, James Hoffman and wife Barbara of Montgomery, NY and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband Thomas O'Leary, daughter Carol O'Leary Hoffman; sisters, Marjorie Hawkins, Gertrude Coleman, Dorothy Karig, Audrey Ballard and brother, Gerald Kortright. Visitation will be Friday morning, May 24 from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, May 24 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Donations may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Ct., Newburgh, NY 12550 or St. John's Church, Goshen, NY 10924. Arrangements by the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc.
