JAMES ANTHONY RUGGERIO January 25, 1950 - July 4, 2013 New Windsor, NY James Anthony Ruggerio, 63, of New Windsor died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. James was born January 25, 1950 in Morristown, NJ, the son of the late Anthony James and Michelina Lorraine(Malfatone) Ruggerio. He served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1985. He retired in 2008, as the Chief of Community Operations Division, in West Point, NY. Jim is survived by his wife, Kathryn A. Ruggerio at home; his mother, Michelina Lorraine Ruggerio of Las Vegas, NV; sons, Vincent Ralph Ruggerio of Las Vegas, NV, and Anthony James Ruggerio, II and wife, Dana of Henderson, NV; daughter, Lauren Michele Ruggerio at home; brother, Eugene Ruggerio and wife, Sharon of Henderson, NV; sister, Nancy Curtin of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Isobella Michelina Ruggerio and James Anthony Ruggerio, II; nieces, Jessica Lee Ruggerio and Kimberlee Lorraine Ruggerio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 6th at St. Columba Church, 27 High St., in Chester, NY. Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
