APRIL 1, 1936 - FEBRUARY 21, 2009
Ruth E. James, 72, of Middletown, NY died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Horton Campus, Middletown, NY.
Ruth was born April 1, 1936 in Patterson, NJ the daughter of Helen Good Hunter and Daniel Wood.
She was employed by Crystal Run Village, Inc., Perricelli House as an Advocate 2.
Ruth is survived by her 3 sons, David Oomen and wife Patricia of Otisville, NY, Paul Oomen and wife Jane of Cragsmore, NY, and Jess James of Middletown, NY; brother, Daniel H. Wood II of Middletown, NY; 7 grandchildren, Christina and Sarah, Michael, Heather and Mark, and Samatha and Dirk; 1 great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be in the Funeral Home at 8:00 pm.
Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's name to Fair Oaks Humane Society, 142 Bloomingburg Road, Fair Oaks, NY 10940.
