Jeanette D. Williams, 72, of Washingtonville, died Monday, December 29, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Jeanette was born January 6, 1942 in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Frank and Alice (Doyle) McCafferty. Jeanette was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 8691 - Washingtonville, NY. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She is survived by her husband, Paul S. Williams, Sr. at home; sons, Paul S. Williams, Jr. and wife Lori of Wurtsboro, Frank Williams and fiance, Badia Ellatifi of Cornwall, Richard Williams and wife JoAnna of Westtown, and Michael Williams of Washingtonville; sister, Patricia Grimes and husband Eugene of Milford, PA; sisters-in-law, Joan Butler of Blooming Grove, NY and Barbara McCafferty of NJ; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Ava, Connor and Braydon and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Frank McCafferty. Visitation will be Thursday, January 1 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be Friday, January 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's R. C. Church, Washingtonville, NY. Burial will follow in Seamanville Cemetery, Monroe, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeannette's name to the American Cancer Society, 121 Executive Drive, New Windsor, NY 12553.
