Obituary of Carmen R. Carrion

Carmen R. Carrion, a seven year resident of the area, formerly of the Bronx, NY died Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY. She was 77. She was born April 26, 1929 in Naguabo, Puerto Rico. Carmen was the widow of Faustino S. Carrion. She is survived by two sons, Juan R. Carrion and his wife, Lillian of Goose Creek, SC and Fausto W. Carrion and his wife, Teresa of Florida, NY; three daughters, Gladys Cruz and her husband, George of Old Bridge, NJ, Edith Carrion of Manhattan, NY and Lourdes Elia of Washingtonville; one brother, Edwin Febres of Cross, SC; nine grandchildren, Mona, Patrick, Lisa, George, Melissa, Christopher, Jennifer, David and Jason, and eight great grandchildren. Carmen was predeceased by her husband Faustino S. Carrion and her mother, Petra Rivera. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 19, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 20, at 10:00 am in St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163.
