Obituary of Ramon Wright

Ramon Wright, age 60, of Goshen, NY died Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at his private residence. Mr. Wright was born October 9, 1946 in the Bronx, NY, the son of the late Joseph Quarrles Wright and Irene(Ferguson) Wright. He was a long term resident of Orange County, graduate of Goshen Central High School. He will be missed by his family and many friends. He served in the United States Air Force. He was self employed in the Jewelry Industry. Ramon was an avid jazz enthusiast and a great admirer of Miles Davis. Mr. Wright is survived by his mother, Irene Wright of Campbell Hall; son, Damon of Florida; brothers, James Wright and Charles Wright of Punta Gorda, Fl., Rudy Wright and David Wright of Campbell Hall, NY; sisters, Peggy Barnes of Middletown, Charlotte Johnson of Port Charlotte, FL, Gene Caldwell of Holyoke, MA, Willie Ray and Marie Randell of Maryland; granddaughters, Damonique and Ra-Chel, many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like you to join us in a celebration of Ramons life at the Jesus Christ Triumphant Church, 2735 Rte. 17M, New Hampton, NY on Thursday, 9/6/2007 at 6:00 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family would like to express their appreciation to Hospice of Orange and Rockland, especially to nurses Joanne and Ellen.
