One of my most favorite memories with my grandfather is when I got my 1st Mercedes CLK 500 convertible in 2006, he was so excited for us, he made me promise him that he would be the 1st one who takes it for a ride and he did! I picked him up at his home he sat behind the wheel with the biggest smile ever and we took off. We went cruising all afternoon all down the back roads of Monroe n Chester, listening to music laughing all afternoon, I was watching his smile and the wind whipping in his white white hair, We hopped on the highway he put the metal to the petal "he said he couldn't feel the tires on the ground he felt that he was flying" We had the greatest day together just the 2 of us. I will miss him for entirety.

Aunt Delores, We are thinking of you and your family. Some of my best memories of childhood involve family reunions at your home, and all the parties that you and Uncle Bill would drive down for in the Bronx. I never heard Uncle Bill say a bad word about anyone, and I will miss his love and laughter.

Dolores and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. My cousin Billy was the first born in a long line of Houston cousins. I always loved being aroung him and talking to him. He was almost like an uncle rather than a cousin, but I always felt comfortable in his company. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

Uncle Billy always had a joke and a smile. He also always told it like it was and never sugar coated anything and for that I am grateful.
He is missed. My love to everyone.

Billy was my husband's nephew.
We did not own a car throughout our years of marraige. Each family affair, Billy and Delores kindly offered to take us home, no matter what inconvenience was caused. Their consideration for us did not go without notice.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His smile lit up the room. He is with God, now and has an everlasting, loving smile on his face.
Our love, prayers and sympathy are sent to his family.
Love,
Aunt Naomi

I will always remember Billy's smiling face and big heart. Thank you Billy & Dolores for so many experiences: Sunday school mornings (very different from the usual Sunday masses), the Goshen racetrack, my first block party, 4 a.m. wakeups- "time to make the donuts" and the chaos of living with 5 siblings! A united family was important to Billy and we will be happy to honor his wish by continuing his traditional family reunions.
