I worked with Tina many years ago at MedEc. I recieved a phone call today from one of our mutual friends and I am very sad to hear of her passing. She was taken too soon, but while she was here, Tina made a lasting impression. I remember how beautiful she was and the memories we all shared at work and the many fun times we had outside of work. My prayers are with her family and daughter.

Tina or T as I always called you. You were an amazing person so full of energy and and spunk. Your smile was contagious and always made my days brighter. I'm glad we had the chance to work together for so many years at Med Ec and you followed my advice to get into sales where I knew you would be very successful. I viewed you as a little sister which is why I was tough on you at times as I wanted nothing but the best in life for you and your family. You will be sorely missed my friend, godspeed.

Dear Tina,
I remember you as a child visiting with your Dad at Champion and later in other times as you visited with your Mom and Dad at home. Sweet, polite, beautiful and gracious. You have been blessed with a wonderful daughter who carries your spirit and life spark and with a family that helped you grow to the vibrant, successful young woman and mother you became. Though your physical time here is sadly too short, your legacy will carry on and your spirit will always be united with the one's you love.

It's been 24 hours since I walked in the door from saying goodbye to my friend Tina. I have to say, that my heart still aches. I do know, that with the hugs, kisses, kind words everyone shared with me, in concern for how I was feeling, truly helped me try to move ahead. I took the day off with my daughter today to just regroup, organize and get back with my life. It came to a halt Saturday morning at 6am. I am thankful to have such great friends, to have been part of such an incredible friendship with Tina. I know in my heart she is gone, but it is so so unimaginable how I am to walk into work every single day without her there. I guess over time I will ease back into the silence of her not being there, laughing, joking, everything. Love you Tina. Love you Denis. Enjoy it up there. Save me a seat next to you.

I met Tina shortly after she moved into the neighborhood in Vernon, and I liked her immediately. I feel fortunate to have been able to get to know her. We spent a few evenings chatting over a glass of wine, and laughing. Often there would be a crowd of neighbors standing in the street with Tina, just talking and laughing. Tina was a fun-loving and generous person. My daughter, Melissa, used to watch her dog, and Tina was always so kind and generous to her. What I will remember most is Tina's smile and laugh. My entire family will miss her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with all those she left behind, and for Nia, whom she loved more than words can express.

Hello everyone- my name is Larry, I'm Tina's dad. Me, Tina's mom Kathy and sister Amy wish to thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful and warn comments and memories you have shared with us. You truely captured the Tina that we raised.
Thank you for visiting with us on Wednesday evening to say good bye to our precious daughter.
It was our privledge to have her as our daughter for 36 years.
The lessons of life that we taught her through our words and deeds were simple: we love you, we are so prowd of you, we will always be here for you and we will do everything possible to make sure that you are happy and enjoy life. On a daily basis it was Kathy who dedicated herself to helping Tina on her journey through life.
Tina embraced everything we shared and excelled in many respects. There wasn't enough hours in the day for Tina to accomplish all that she wished.
Her friends and collegues meant the world to her. This was evident by the way she treated people; friendship, generousity, respect, loyality and love. She was even able to do this in a competitive work environment without reservation.
Tina blessed us with a beautiful and spirited (no surprise) grand daughter named Nia. We will continue to play an important role in her up bringing along with IZ and his wonderful family.
I hope all of you carry a little piece of our Tina in your hearts and souls, incorporating her outlook on life and the way she treated other people into your daily routines.
It would be the most befitting tribute to this beautiful, talented, caring and gentle soul.
With unending love for all of eternity rest in peace our darling daughter.

I am sorry to send these thoughts via an email but have no other address. Tina called on me for pharmaceutical advertising for many years. She was always professional in her job, and a happy person to be around. I last saw her in late Feb at a training seminar at Advanstar. She had on what we called her "brilliant blue" contacts and was sporting a deep tan. She had just returned from Bermuda (I think) or somewhere warm where she had gone snorkling. I will miss her and will pray for the entire family and her little daughter who was the world to her. Teri Fleming

I was in touch with Kelly for several years by email for business. Finally we had a chance to meet at a conference early this year. Kelly was great at understanding our company's position as a very small advertiser and she was extremely professional at handling our particular situation. Personally she gave me reassurance we are on the right track which gave me encouragement in what I do. I'll miss Kelly's regular emails to simply check up on me and our company, and give encouragement.

In an effort to make her feel more comfortable, I comlimented her on her sweater.
She replied, "TJ Maxx - $15."
And we both began to laugh!
She was such a wonderful woman. She loved her daughter, Nia. And was forever grateful to her parents for all their love & support. Through everything Tina was such a positive person and she always had a smile on her face.
She is a true inspiration to me and to ALL that she encountered. I will miss you Tina.

I'd like to share this poem that I feel are Tina's words to all of us.
I Am Free
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I am following the path that God laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh,
to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found that peace at the close of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, those things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with time of sorrow,
I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free!

Dear, dearest Tina (P1, Tuffy, butterfly),
Immediately I was drawn
by your intense flash as I watched you turn before me.
Stricken, again . . .
I refused to be moved
knowing I was far stronger than impulse.
But your bright dark eyes and shining (crazy red) curved lips
against that wonderful giggle :)
and cutting smile . . .
which you shared so very well . . .
. . . so quickly reduced me to yours,
your friend, my friend . . .
Your so very truly loving friend . . .
You have helped me to become that better person,
the kind you wished for me to be . . .
I love you T,
the way it was always supposed to be . . .
Sweetest Nia (P2 (princess #2)), your mother was the most enormous and top giant among the grandest of loving giants. Her love for you was such that when she breathed for you there was no air left on this planet for the rest of us . . . and we were fine with that because we loved your mother so much . . . as we do you . . .

While we can’t begin to fathom why Tina was taken from her beloved family and friends, and most particularly, her beautiful daughter, at this time, we can only (try to) rest in the faith and knowledge that she now resides with God in a place of greater peace and beauty than we can imagine. We pray for and with Tina, that God may grant her terribly grieving family strength and fortitude, that they may pass through these difficult days -- and the weeks and months ahead – to find solace in the memory of the joy her spirit brought to those around her all the days of her life.
As she now watches down upon us in the presence of God, we recall the words of this song and hope that it may bring comfort.
Michael, John, and James Brisciana
“The Prayer”
I pray you’ll be our eyes, and watch us where we go
And help us to be wise, in times when we don’t know
Let this be our prayer, as we go our way
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
To a place where we’ll be safe
I pray we’ll find your light, and hold within our hearts
When stars go out each night
Let this be our prayer, when shadows fill our day
Lead us to a place, guide us with your grace
Give us faith so we’ll be safe.

Although technically a client of Tina's, I've only ever thought of myself as a friend. I will always remember how Tina's laughter can light up a room -- and in our case it was usually a crowded restaurant....a crowded Italian restaurant with excellent food and wine! She had a perpetual positive energy that made it a joy to be around her. I loved hearing her stories about her water adventures and, of course, about her beautiful daughter. I cannot believe my "other Kelly girl" friend is gone and will miss her terribly. I find some peace in knowing that her daughter will have a special Guardian Angel to guide her as she grows - because there is nothing stronger than a mother's love. I respected her and her values and was always reminded that strong family bonds do so much for everybody. She was a woman that you wanted to be around. I will miss her so much. I'm sorry I didn't get to know her better because what I knew, I loved. I miss you, Tina.

I will always remember my cousin Tina as a youthful girl with a bright smile that could light up the room. The last time I saw Tina was about 15 years ago and I have an image of her laughing and kidding around with her dear sister Amy. I remember how much Tina loved her family, and how she always showed affection to her grandparents and younger cousins. My thoughts and prayers are with her family now, and I know Tina's smile is lighting up heaven and shining down her love from above.

Knowing how Larry for almost 20 years I recall so many times that we talked about his his family, especially his daughters makes this loss so unthinkable. Larry (and family) was always so proud of having his daughters so close and was always so happy to always be involved in whatever they were doing....... Life is all about the people you touch and the legacy you leave on earth. While Tina will be missed I know her grandaughter will allow her to live on so the Kelly family can stay close to her and heal quickly in her joy. My sincere condolances to the Kelly family and may you continue to find strength in each other. Your friends and family will do whatever we can to ease your pain.

I am Tina’s friend and colleague at Advanstar Communications. The loss we feel today cannot even be expressed.
Tina was a beautiful, funny, committed soul. Her love for life was contagious. It was almost impossible to be around her and not get caught up in her laughter, her humor, her enthusiasm. She tackled every challenge – work and personal – with the attitude that anything was possible, and could be accomplished with a laugh and a smile. She was always so much fun – and a little dangerous to tease because she always seemed to have the perfect comeback locked and loaded!
Tina’s colleagues and clients were friends. She was starting to peak in her effort to hone sharp, intuitive skills as a talented salesperson, and always sought out the coaching and mentoring of her colleagues. She was committed to success – it was always a joy to see the advice you provided incorporated into her next encounter.
I know that what I am writing cannot even begin to do justice to this wonderful, funny, loving friend. She will be so, so missed.

Tina was a rare find who was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside, and on the outside, she was absolutely stunning! Her lovely smile and caring ways always lifted you when you were down, and her crazy sense of humor could make you laugh no matter how rotten a day you were having. It is senseless and tragic to have lost someone as wonderful as she was. I will never forget her and her support during the rough times, and how we celebrated during the good times. To say she will be missed is an understatement. My sincere condolences to the entire Kelly and Murphy families.
