Marilee Donovan Dardenne, 87, of Mahwah, NJ passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at home. Marilee was born February 20, 1926 in Goshen, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph C. Donovan and the late Margaret (Curtin) Donovan. She was the widow of Henry D. Dardenne. Marilee retired as a Librarian from the Mahwah Public Library after 35 years. She is survived by her sons, Henry D. Dardenne and wife Nancy of Seattle, WA, and James M. Dardenne of New York, NY; daughter, Peg Dardenne of Hoboken, NJ; brothers, Joseph R. Donovan of Goshen and John Donovan of Charlotte, NC; sister, Suzanne Donovan of Stony Point, NY; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, December 8 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, December 9 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospital Hospice Program, 223 N. Van Dien Avenue, Ridgewood, NJ 07450.
