ROBERTA A. McQUILLAN February 28, 1936 - January 4, 2014 Middletown, NY Roberta A. McQuillan, 77, of Middletown died Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Roberta was born February 28, 1936 in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of Anthony and Evelyn (Reel) Brown. Roberta lived in the Orange County area for over 40 years since 1971. She was a resident of Surrey Meadows in Chester before moving to Middletown; a past parishioner of St. Columba Church in Chester and a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church in Goshen. She is survived by daughters: Anne-Marie Tulp and husband, Michael of Jupiter, FL; and Cathy-Ann Shannon and husband, Timothy of Middletown; brother, Thomas Brown and wife, Noreen of Virginia; grandchildren: Adam Tulp, and Caitlin and Daniel Shannon; and many nieces and nephews. Roberta was predeceased by her parents, husband, Thomas McQuillan; daughter, Maureen McQuillan; grandson, Thomas Shannon and four brothers: Anthony, John, Edward and Joseph Brown. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 7th at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8th at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in Cemetery Of The Highlands, Highland Mills, NY.
