Ronald Caplicki, 66, of Goshen, died Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Ronald was born April 1, 1948 in Goshen, NY, the son of Chester and Cecelia (Musial) Caplicki. He retired from the State of New York, Unified County Court, Goshen, NY as the Head of Supreme Court. He was a member of the Middletown Elks Club #1097, the National Wildlife Federation, Ontario and Western Railway Historical Society, and NRHS member. He is survived by his mother Cecelia Caplicki of Florida, NY; son, Daniel P. Caplicki and wife Barbara of Goshen; step grandchildren, Jennifer Earley and husband Thomas, and Jessica Caruso and husband Jason; step great-grandson, Jason Caruso; numerous cousins and other family. He was predeceased by his wife, Iris T. Caplicki and father Chester Caplicki. Visitation will be Thursday, November 13 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 am on Friday, November 14, 2014 at St. James Episcopal Church, 1 St. James Pl., Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Ronald's name to GOVAC, P.O. Box 695, Goshen, NY 10924 or Goshen Fire Department, P.O. Box 946, Goshen, NY 10924.
