Robert J. Adamec, 70, of Warwick, died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York, NY. Robert was born July 24, 1944 in Bronx, NY, the son of Frank and Florence (Melville) Adamec. Robert served in the Army National Guard. He was the former owner of the Rusty Nail, Middletown, NY. Bob lived for his family. Bob was an avid fisherman and camper. He was quick to smile, loved to laugh, and was all around a fun guy. He spent many a night up late at a camp fire at Mongaup Pond. His greatest joy was his family and he loved nothing more than to be with them. Bob is survived by his wife, Terrie Adamec at home; sons, James Dailey and wife Christina and Christopher Adamec and wife Jennifer; daughter, Danielle Adamec and significant other, Danny Lopez; four grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Dailey and Sophia and Sasha Adamec; sister, Barbara Gorga and husband Peter; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Kenneth, Richard and Donald Adamec. Visitation will be Friday, May 1 from 2 to 4 PM & 7 to 9 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at St. Joseph R.C. Church, Florida, New York. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
