Josephine Contorino, 96, of Chester, NY entered into rest with her daughter by her side on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
Josephine was born October 23, 1919 in New York, NY, the daughter of Vincent and Carmela (Martinez) Murabito.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennie Grace Federico and her husband, Dominick of Chester, NY; grandson, John Thomas Federico of Poughkeepsie; sister-in-law, Alice Murabito of Ponce Inlet, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario Contorino; parents; three brothers: Salvator, Anthony and Frank Murabito and two sisters: Carmela Torrisi and Anna LaRue.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 29th at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial to Celebrate her life will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30th at St. Columba R. C. Church, 27 High St, Chester. Burial to follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Chester.
