Marilyn M. Turi, 74, of Goshen, entered into rest on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at home.
Marilyn was born May 2, 1941 in Warwick, NY; to Emma Ehlers. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her great nieces and nephews and antique and clothing shopping. She retired after 32 years from the NY Office Court Administration/Family Court, Goshen, NY as a Secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred R. Turi, Jr. at home; son, Patrick A. Turi of Goshen; sister, Judy Sternberg and husband Jeff of Monticello, NY; sister-in-law, Margaret Shanley and husband Frank of Goshen, Katherine Knight and husband Gary of Newport Port Richie, FL; brother-in-law, Michael A. Turi of New Port Richie, FL; niece, Amy Wapshere and husband Dr. James Wapshere and nephew, Frank Stamski, Jr. and wife Laura; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother, Emma Rhein, brother, Vincent Rhein, mother and father-in-law, Fran and Al Turi, Sr.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 5 from 4 to 7 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial to Celebrate her life will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550 or Oncology Nurses Association at ORMC, Middletown, NY.
