Josephine T. Scalia, 102, of Goshen, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Elant at Goshen, Goshen, NY.
Josephine was born June 16, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of John and Mary (Nicotra) Scalia.
She retired from Chubb Insurance in New York City as an Auditor. Josephine was a member of Our Lady Queen of Angels in Queens, NY
She is survived by her nephew, John Albarino and wife Maureen; nieces, Geraldine Belvich and Jean Marie Nicoli; grandnieces, Robin Leotard, Christine Olivencia, Lauri Albarino, and Sandra Doolittle; grandnephews, Charles Lewis and Jerry Lewis. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Scalia and sister, Rose Albarino.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 20 from 8:30 - 9:30 am at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's the Evangelist R.C. Church, Goshen, NY.
