Uncle Paul was a great man and mentor...as we were growing up together on Bruner Avenue in the Bronx he taught me a lot of things about life. Even back then in the 60's he was always dressed to the tee! He used to bust my balls once in a while...but isn't that what your Uncle is supposed to do? He turned me on to my first Beatle's record...."I am the Walrus" and was actually the reason I started playing guitar and writing music at the age of eleven...thank you Uncle Paul for that!!! I'll never forget the ride he gave me in his project car...a 1955 Chevy. Didn't have a passenger seat...so I took the ride sitting on a milk crate....most cars didn't have seat belts back then...and I'm sure his didn't...it was a work in progress anyway. He was always eager to go on our camping trips with my brother Pat and John Pastena...and Paul Dickson on occasion...we even ran into a few Hobbits on one trip...but that's another story!!! All though we haven't seen each other in some time...every time we did meet it was like just yesterday. I love you Uncle Paul and will miss you....and tell St. Peter to stock up on the Molson Golden!!!

It was always a pleasure to sit down to a game of poker with Paul...or to sit down to anything with him...he made people laugh. And he always wanted to talk to you, and listen to what's going on in other's lives. I once had the pleasure of going on a week-long wilderness fishing trip with him. Great fun and a lot of laughs. He'll be missed very much. All our sympathy to his wife, Kathy, and the rest of his family. Rest in peace, Paul.
