I’m grateful the the few times I met John throughout the years.
Wish
My father was John’s cousin Harold.
Harold’s brother is George McNeil and parents were George and Harriet Green McNeil.
There are only two other McNeil’s of John’s generation alive, that I know of.
My uncle George McNeil and
Joyce McNeil Davis McLeod. Her parents were Lena McNeil and Augustus Ackerman.
Joyce had one sister- Ethelyn McNeil and her husband Reverend Theodore Overton.
Some of us are gathering at the Rosco diner on the 14th at 11am, from parts of NY
Joyce and some of her children, 4 of Ethelytn’s children and my sister and I.
Welcome to join us.... or perhaps we will meet som e other time.

I am sorry for your loss and wish to share many good memory of years during the 1970's and yes even 80's (pushing the age limit) of trick or treating. We would always walk from house to house and Mr and Mrs Brown would always take the time to stop and talk to all us children and truly enjoy and admire us and our growth from toddlers to adult hood. The time ,interest, and individual attention you and all our neighbors on Axworthy Lane took with all the youth was far better a experience than hitting unknown houses on Murray ave and spring glen and racking up larger volumes of candy.
Even a friendly wave as we would ride by on the school bus with Natalie. I know I speak for myself as well as my family in thanking you for being a close long time neighbor as well as for your service to our country and our community. LETTER FROM HEAVEN
To my dearest family,
Some things I would like to say,
But first of all, to let you know
That I arrived OK.
I'm writing this from Heaven
Where I dwell with God above,
Here there's no more tears or sadness
There is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
Just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you
Every morning,noon,and night.
That day that I had to leave you
When my life on earth was through ,
God picked me up and hugged me
And He said, I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again
You were missed while you were gone .
As for your dearest family
They'll be here later on .
I need you here so badly
As part of my big plan .
There's so much that we have to do
To help our mortal man .
And God gave me a list of things
He wished for me to do .
And foremost on that list of mine
Is to watch and care for you .
And I will be beside you
Every day and week and year .

The days chore put to flight
God and I are closest to you
In the middle of the night .
