I would like to offer my condolences to the Garling family and friends. The death of a loved one is very painful. Please take comfort in knowing that Our Creator has already made provision to awaken her from sleep in the near future. This hope is spoken about in the Bible by Jesus when he said that soon "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...". When that happens the earth will be cleansed and brought back to its original paradise condition. Sickness and death will be a thing of the past. May this wonderful promise and your pleasant memories of Carole's life sooth your heartache until that coming day.
Sincerely
E. Clarke

Saddened to hear of Mrs. Garlings passing. My daughter enjoyed her when she had her for a teacher! Lovely, caring educator!

The late Rita Pierson once stated, "Every child deserves a champion; an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be." Mrs. Garling epitomized this quote. Kids know when you truly care about them and Mrs. Garling had the knack for doing such. I was truly inspired by her dedication to all of her students and empathy she showed to all of us. Thank you for inspiring me to become an educator and all that you have done. My deepest condolences.

I only knew Carole for a short period of time but knew from the moment I met her she was special. Within only a few minutes of meeting her we are laughing and talking as if we had known each other for years. She was vibrant, full of positive energy, and kindness. People like Carol remain forever fixed in one' s memory. I feel blessed to have had a chance to know her...even if only for a short while. My heart goes out to her adoring family who she could not say enough about as she smiled from ear to ear. Carole you will be a permanent fixture in hearts of many and adored throughout eternity.
You are still my inspiration!

I am so sad to hear of Carol's passing. I worked with Carole years ago at the middle school and was so impressed by her. I was starting out at the time and looked up to for her teaching abilities and her interaction with the kids. The class was made up of kids that were having behavior problems and her ability to help those kids was amazing.
MY thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is my wish to extend to you - the family of Mrs. Garling - my deepest sympathy for your tremendous loss. Mrs. Garling was one of my all-time favorite teachers; I had the privilege of having her in grade 8 at CJ Hooker Middle School during the 1985-1986 school year. Mrs. Garling was a true"educator." She really wanted her students to thrive under her direction; and I definitely feel that I thrived under her guidance during that time. Mrs. Garling was such a good role model and friend to all of her students. She was sophisticated and intelligent; kind and caring; funny and full of integrity. She really engaged us on a daily basis. I recently found some photos that I snapped in the final days of my 8th grade year....the separate photos were of Mrs. Garling, Mr. Huldie and Mr. Tether (I just happened to forward those photos to Mr. Tether; he is my son's current golf coach at Goshen High School). A dream team of teachers - along with Mr. Watson and Ms. Sherman - whom I look back on and always remember fondly. Again, please accept my condolences for your loss. From the bottom of my heart, "thank you Mrs. Garling, for being such an amazing and inspirational teacher. Your teachings went beyond the books."
Sincerely, Jennifer (LaRosa) Pucci

You were a teacher who always inspired me. It was when I met you as one of your students in middle school that I finally developed a passion for learning. I'm forever grateful for the care and patience you gave me as a student.
