Obituary of Donia Magal

Donia Magal, age 92, originally from New York, NY, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at home in Milford, PA.. Donia was born April 24, 1924 in the Tyasiv, Ukraine. Donia was a devoted and active member of the Ukrainian Community in New York City. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her Granddaughters, Tina Vergara and husband Teddy of Milford, PA; Ulana Emerson and husband Jason of Sparrowbush, NY.; Great Grandchildren, Gabriella Smith and her husband Brian, Natalia and Marcus Vergara, Olivia Rodriguez She is predeceased by her husbands Wasyl Magal, Petro Berenda and her son Zenon Berenda. Visitation will be held at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY on Monday, April 17 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Services will be held at St. Andrew Ukrainian Catholic Church, Sarah Wells Trail, Campbell Hall, NY on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00am. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY. In lieu of flowers please make contributions in Donia's name to a charity of your choice.
