John E. Heft, Sr., age 64, of, Goshen, NY, Passed away Friday, July 17, 2009 at his home.. John was born November 18, 1944 in Nashua, N.H. the son of the late W. Royce Heft and the late Hilda (Russell) Heft . John was a proud Army Veteran, he served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a Member of the Disabled American Veterans - Goshen Chapter. John loved his family, his work and all the people he knew. He is survived by his wife: Margaret C. Heft; 2 Sons - John E. Heft, Jr. and his wife Brandy ; Jack William Heft: 1 Daughter - Rhonda H. Jones; 1 Brother - Arthur Tomlinson and 1 Sister - Patricia Frohlich; 3 Grandsons; 1 Granddaughter & 1 Great Grandson. Also other Family members and many wonderful friends Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 6:00 To 8:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral service will be held that evening Tuesday at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at a later date at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY. In Lieu of Flowers Contributions may be made in John's name to the St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home Inc., Goshen, NY.
