Maryann and I wish to pass on our deepest condolences to Archie’s family. We will dearly miss him.
Archie was part of a larger family at Alders Wholesale, who was dearly loved by all. He came to work always with the best interest for Alders wholesale. He always made sure to take great care of the customers. In so many ways, he was priceless to us and everyone he was in contact with. We will miss him!
I am sorry that Maryann and I could not make it to the viewing, due being out of town for the week.
Kind Regards to all his family
Maryann and Tom

To the entire Carroll family,
I send my condolences to all family and friends of Archie. I haven't lived in Goshen
in many years, but Archie and I go back a long time.
We both worked at Ford Motor Company, we both belonged to the Dikeman Hose Company #3, and we both played golf in the Al Turi league.
But the best part was the friendship we shared over the years, he was a great guy, and I know everyone will miss him. Of course I haven't seen him years, but I'll never forget, some of the times we had together.
I hope the family celebrates Archie's great life, God Bless you all

I was saddened when I was informed of Archie's passing by my parents yesterday. As a young man while in and just out of college, I got to know Archie while a member of the Dikeman E&H Co. #3 and found him to be one of the most genuine, honest, and positive people that I had ever met. Though I moved from Goshen over twenty years ago, I would still see him on occasion when visiting and chat, conversations that I truly enjoyed. He was an American hero for his service, though humble enough never to bring it up in conversation and a great example for all of us to follow. My condolences to Wayne (still the best coach I ever had), his brothers and their families, the Lane family (Tommy, Nancy, Tommy Jr., Crissy), and the Spindler family.
Truly we lost two great Americans in the span of three days with Archie's passing and that of Reverend Graham.

Wayne and Nancy,
Lauri and I are so sorry for your loss.
Wayne described his Dad to me on Friday at the States. He sure sounded like he got quite a bit out of life. He surely must have been a lot like Wayne.
We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Archie, I will miss your stories of the "Old Days", your happy smile and your infectious laugh. I bought a Mercury from Archie 14 years ago. Folks would ask me if I was still driving "Archie's Car". Even I called it "Archie's Car". I sold the car a couple of weeks ago. It was 20 years old and had 220k miles on it. Both Archie and "His Car" had a great run.
Archie, Thanks for the ride.
