Obituary of Dorothy Pinerolo

Dorothy Pinerolo, 93, of Port Charlotte, FL, entered into rest on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Port Charlotte Hospice House, Port Charlotte, FL. Dorothy was born March 13, 1925 in New York, NY, the daughter of Richard Kenny and the Ethel (Fitzgerald) Kenny. Dorothy's first job that she loved was working with David O. Selznick who produced Gone with the Wind in NYC for many years; In her younger years she was an avid roller skater and dancer. She retired from the Village of Garden City, Garden City, NY as an Administrator and also taught organ and piano for many years. She was a member of the DOR Daughter of the Revolution. She is survived by her son, John Sinclair and wife Joanne; two granddaughters, Jill Gurda and husband Chris and Jaclyn Cicchiello and husband Lawrence; 5 great grandchildren, Christopher, Cynthia, Jack, Sinclair and Charles. Dorothy was predeceased by Gino, her husband and the love of her life. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery St. Francis Chapel, Valhalla, NY, with burial to follow.
